The Philippine Technological Council (PTC) received the Valued Partnership in Standardization Award from the Department of Trade and Industry – Bureau of Philippine Standards (DTI-BPS) on October 15, 2026. Representing PTC at the awarding ceremony were Engr. Romulo Agatep, Engr. Elpidio Carlota, Engr. Cesar Dela Cruz, and Engr. Aubrey Borromeo, who accepted the award on behalf of the Council.

The award recognizes PTC’s continued efforts to advance engineering standardization, including supporting the development of standards for local and emerging technologies.

The recognition was conferred during the 4109 Awards, named after Republic Act No. 4109, or the Standards Law of 1964, which established the foundation for national standardization in the Philippines.
