PTC ACBET Accredited Engineering Programs

The Philippines Technological Council (PTC) through its Accreditation and Certification Board for Engineering and Technology (or “ACBET”) accredits engineering programs in accordance with the policies, processes and procedures, and authorities as spelled out in its Certification and Accreditation System for Engineering Education (or “CASEE”).

The list includes the following:

Table B – ACCREDITED ENGINEERING PROGRAMS (BS DEGREE LEVEL) UNDER TIER 2

B)   PROGRAMS WITH PARTIAL ACCREDITATION:

The following engineering programs have been granted PARTIAL ACCREDITATION by the Accreditation and Certification Board for Engineering  & Technology (ACBET) of the Philippine Technological Council.  These programs will undergo interim review upon the request of the institution.

C) PROGRAMS PREVIOUSLY ACCREDITED BUT ACCREDITATION DISCONTINUED.
The following engineering programs have discontinued accreditation based on the request of the institution providers.

International Recognition of PTC Accredited Engineering Programs

The international recognition of accredited engineering programs is being provided through the Washington Accord whose signatories have undertaken to make every reasonable effort to ensure that the bodies responsible for registering or licensing engineering role to practice in its country or territory mutually recognize the substantial equivalence of engineering academic programs accredited by the other Accord signatories.
PTC is now a full member of the Accord. As such, engineering programs accredited by PTC are recognized as substantially equivalent to those accredited by other Accord signatories. Likewise, PTC recognizes the accredited programs of other signatories under the same framework.
