In alignment with one of PTC’s strategic objectives over the next five years, the organization actively engages in the development of Codes, Standards, Guidelines, Practices, and processes. This active participation serves to enhance collaboration among the 13 Professional Organizations, thereby amalgamating knowledge and expertise to formulate sustainable codes and standards for multi-disciplinary projects, with a specific focus on renewable energy and emerging technologies.
The initiative to develop Guidelines and Standards for Floating Solar Photovoltaic (FPV) Equipment was initiated with the assistance of the USAID Energy Secure Philippines (ESP). ESP’s mission centers on advancing inclusive economic growth and resilient development within the renewable energy and broader energy industry. The FPV Equipment Standards Report has been designed to articulate minimum standards, codes, and practices intended to guide various industry stakeholders, including regulators, developers, and practitioners.
