Get ready for the second year of TechnoQuest, the thrilling annual ideation competition organized  by the USAID ESP: Women Engineers as Instruments for Sustainable Engineering in  Renewable Energies (WISER) Project! In collaboration with the Philippine Technological Council  (PTC), this competition provides an exceptional platform for students to showcase their innovative  talents and tackle pressing energy challenges. 

Event Date: March 4, 2025 (World Engineering Day) 

Theme: Renewable Energy Solutions for a Sustainable Future 

TechnoQuest Year 2 invites all Grade 12 Senior High School students from partner schools of the  USAID ESP: WISER Project across the Philippines to participate. The competition unfolds in  several stages: 

• School Level: Students from each participating school will submit their top research ideas for  evaluation. 
• Cluster Level: The top three teams from each school will advance to the cluster level, where  they will present their ideas live. 
• National Level: Winners from the cluster stage will compete at the national level, the final stage,  for the grand prize. 

Objectives of TechnoQuest: 

Challenge Innovation: Inspire Grade 12 STEM students to design and propose novel technologies  or products that address specific renewable energy issues, fostering original thinking and creative  solutions. 

Inspire Careers: Encourage students to explore engineering careers, particularly in renewable  energy, by providing insights and guidance from industry professionals. 

Showcase Talent: Provide a platform for students to demonstrate their innovative ideas and  research related to renewable energy, highlighting their talents and promoting further academic  and career development.
