The Philippine Technological Council (PTC) and the United States Agency for International Development – Energy Secure Philippines (USAID-ESP) have conducted a focus group discussion on the formation of standards and guidelines on Floating Solar-Photovoltaic System (FPV) in the Philippines last January 27, 2024 at the Philippine Bayanihan Society Singapore.
Among the Filipino professional societies that have attended the said discussion were PICE Singapore Chapter, IIEE Singapore Chapter, IECEP Singapore Chapter and PSME 69th Chapter Singapore.

PTC and USAID-ESP, along with Full Advantage Phils International Inc, visited Singapore’s Tengah Floating Solar Photovoltaic System (FPV) with the invitation of International and Electrotechnical Commision (IEC) in the Asia Pacific Region.
The group has also conducted a courtesy call to Ambassador Medardo G. Macaraig at the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Singapore.
